This course explains what a hazardous substance is, and how hazardous substances must be handled in the workplace. The course discusses forms and examples of hazardous substances, routes of exposure to hazardous substances and health effects, proper use of Material Safety Data Sheets, and the use of labelling to prevent exposure to hazardous substances in the workplace.
