Overview

Description

This course provides an overview of emergency procedures. A crucial element of OHS is being able to quickly and decisively respond to an emergency that threatens the safety of people, property or the environment. The course discusses how to take action in the event of a fire, and how to follow evacuation procedures, bomb threat procedures and first aid procedures.

Objectives

After completing this course the student will be able to:

  • Identify How to Follow Emergency Procedures
  • Identify How to Take Action in the Event of a Fire
  • Recognise the Procedure to Deal with Bomb Threats
  • Identify How to Organise and Record First Aid Treatment
